- To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer pursuant to the oral Statement of 22 April 2009, Official Report, column 248 on the 2009 Budget, if he will allocate a proportion of the £405 million in support of low-carbon energy production and advanced green manufacturing to phase 2 of the low-carbon buildings programme.
- Answer

£45 million of the £405 million has been made available to the low carbon building programme. This funding has enabled phase two to be extended from 1 July 2009 until 30 April 2011 with a budget of £30 million. The extension will continue to provide grant funding to charitable, community groups and public sector organisation projects.
