Reforming Financial Markets: Public Consultation

- To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what representations he received from representatives of (a) bank employees and (b) consumer groups during the drafting of the proposals contained in Reforming Financial Markets, Cm 7667.

The Government are consulting widely on the proposals contained in Reforming Financial Markets—this includes a formal 12-week consultation process, which concludes on 30 September 2009.
