English Partnerships: Redundancy Pay

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government (1) how much English Partnerships spent on redundancy payments when it was dissolved; and how many people received such payments;
Answer

When English Partnerships dissolved it spent £368,000 on redundancy payments in relation to five staff. Information on redundancy payments on the three most senior members of staff, including its Chief Executive, was reported on in its final set of accounts, for 2008-09, which was published on its website at:"http://www.englishpartnerships.co.uk/corporateinformation.htm"Copies were also lodged in the Vote Office.The Homes and Communities Agency has no record centrally that any of these former staff have subsequently been hired by the Homes and Communities Agency as employees, contractors or consultants.
