Afghanistan: Peacekeeping Operations

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many (a) armoured personnel carriers and (b) tanks have been deployed in Afghanistan in each month since January 2006.
- Answer

There have been no tanks deployed in Afghanistan. I am withholding the information about the number of armoured personnel carriers deployed in Afghanistan as its disclosure would, or would be likely to prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the armed forces.
