Business of the House

May we have a debate in Government time on the issue of policing and public security in Northern Ireland, given the rise—as we have been warned by the Chief Constable—in the dissident terrorist threat to police officers and others, and the considerable concern that exists throughout the community about the ongoing closure of police stations and the withdrawal of personal protection weapons from ex-members of the security forces? A debate would allow us to raise all those issues which are of such great public concern in Northern Ireland at present.
