RAF Welford
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the costs of maintaining a complement of Ministry of Defence Police at RAF Welford were in the latest quarter for which figures are available; and who met those costs.
- Answer
-
Release of these costs would provide information on the level of policing at RAF Welford. I am therefore withholding this information for the purpose of safeguarding national security. However, I can confirm that the cost of maintaining a Ministry of Defence Police presence at this site falls to the MOD Police and Guarding Agency.
