Animal Welfare Act 2006
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs when he plans to bring forward secondary legislation under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 to make provision for pet vending.
- Answer

Although DEFRA intends to review the law on the selling of pet animals, such a review will not take place during this business year. The timing of a review will largely depend on balancing priorities.
