- To ask the Secretary of State for Justice pursuant to the written ministerial statement of 20 October 2009, Official Report, columns 53-4WS, on temporary transfer of prisoners prior to inspection, whether the cases have been referred to the police for investigation under Prison Service Order 1300; and if he will make a statement.
- Answer

The disciplinary investigation found no evidence of any criminal offence which would have warranted referral to the police for investigation. Had it done so, then the police would have been asked for advice, and possible action.
