Parking
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty's Government with reference to a letter dated 30 November 2009 from the Minister of State at the Department for Transport, Sadiq Khan, to Karen Buck, whether they will discuss with the Local Government Ombudsman the Minister's statement that "the department is not aware of any regulations that remove the powers of the Local Government Ombudsman [to investigate the enforcement of parking and moving traffic contraventions in London]"; and whether the Local Government Ombudsman is able to investigate such matters.

Department for Transport officials will be meeting the Local Government Ombudsman shortly to discuss this matter further.
