Non-domestic Rates: Valuation

Question: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many hereditaments with rateable values over £50,000 in each local authority area are on the 2010 Rating List.

Answer: I have placed a table in the Library which sets out how many hereditaments in each local authority have a rateable value over £50,000.These data are consistent with the statistical release titled "Non-domestic rateable values: 2010 Local Ratings Lists—England and Wales" published on 18 December 2009.A copy of this statistical release is available at the following link:"http://www.voa.gov.uk/publications/statistical_releases/VOA_Statistics_Release_Final.pdf"
