Violence Against Women and Children

- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what timetable he has set for implementation of the recommendations of his Department's task force on the health aspects of violence against women and children.
- Answer

One of the task force report's recommendations was that an implementation group should be set up. This recommendation was fully accepted in the Government's interim response to the task force report and a chair has been appointed. One of the first tasks of the implementation group will be to develop an action plan for publication later this year.
