Railways: Kent
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will assess the potential effects on the level of (a) congestion on the main approach roads into London and (b) carbon dioxide emissions of reducing fares on the North Kent railway line.

There are no specific plans in place to assess the potential effects of reducing fares on this corridor although the Government take fare levels into account in formulating its overall approach on rail.
