- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment she has made of trends in levels of crime since 1981.

I refer the right hon. Member to the answer given on 29 June 2010, Official Report, column 508W.The Government intend to review how crime statistics are collected and published so that we can have the fullest confidence that the information is comprehensive and accurate.
