Proceeding contribution from Baroness May of Maidenhead (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 6 September 2010. It occurred during Urgent question on Phone Tapping.

Phone Tapping

My hon. Friend has referred to the Select Committee report's findings on this matter, to which I and others have also referred. As for his initial observations about the reasons behind this issue, I simply say that those who are watching will see the nature and manner in which some of the points are being raised by Labour Members of Parliament.
