London Airports: Passengers

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects his Department to publish revised forecasts for passenger numbers for Stansted and other airports in the South East over the period to 2030; and whether these will include detailed projections for each airport.
Answer

The Department for Transport published forecasts of the number of air passengers using UK airports, including Stansted Airport, most recently in ““UK Air Passenger Demand and CO2 Forecasts 2009””. The Department keeps its forecasts under review and will publish updated forecasts as appropriate.
