Written question asked by Lord Greaves (Liberal Democrat), in the House of Lords. It was answered by Baroness Hanham (Conservative) on Monday, 18 October 2010.

Local Strategic Partnerships

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what plans they have in relation to local strategic partnerships.
Answer

Local strategic partnerships are non-statutory groups of local organisations, led by local authorities, coming together voluntarily to work in partnership. Decisions on their future, including composition, accountability and structures, are entirely a matter for local areas themselves.
