Devolved Administrations: Deficit Reduction

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what arrangements are in place for discussions with Ministers in the devolved Administrations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to take forward the Government's objectives in relation to deficit reduction.

The UK Government are always willing to engage with Ministers from the devolved Administrations to discuss the Government's objectives in relation to deficit reduction. The Chief Secretary to the Treasury will continue to have regular bilateral and quadrilateral discussions with Finance Ministers from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to discuss a variety of issues including deficit reduction.
