- To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what recent reports his Department has received on the threat posed by the recent outbreak of peste des petits ruminants in Tanzania to the livelihood of poorest smallholder farmers in that region.

The Department for International Development (DFID) has not received any reports on the threat posed by an outbreak of peste des petits ruminants in Tanzania. The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations (UN) is monitoring a recent outbreak and offering support.
