Civil Service: Staff

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what are the differences in duties between the administrative officer and administrative assistant grades in the Civil Service; what are the minimum qualifications required for staff in each grade; whether they have considered merging the two grades; and what would be the estimated cost savings if they were merged.
