Ofcom: Manpower
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how many and what proportion of Ofcom employees had a qualification in an engineering or science subject in (a) 2007-08, (b) 2008-09 and (c) 2009-10.
- Answer
-
The matter raised is an operational issue relating to the independent regulator, the Office of Communications (Ofcom), which is accountable to Parliament rather than to Ministers. Accordingly, I have asked the chief executive of Ofcom to reply directly to the hon. Member. Copies of the chief executive's letter will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
