- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what forecast they have made of the numbers of individuals or households currently eligible for tax credits which will lose eligibility because of the imposition of a savings threshold in universal credit.

In the recent Welfare Reform White Paper, Universal Credit: welfare that works, we have committed to providing protection to ensure that no households in receipt of the relevant benefits and tax credits at the point of transition will lose in cash terms as a direct result of the introduction of universal credit.
