Buses: Concessionary Fares

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is their estimate of the payments due to bus operators for journeys made under the English Concessionary Travel Scheme (a) in the current financial year, (b) for the year from April 2011 under the draft guidance published in September, and (c) for the year from April 2011, under the guidance published on 29 November.

The table below shows the forecast expenditure by Travel Concession Authorities outside London on concessionary bus travel reimbursement for older and disabled people for 2010-11 and 2011-12. The figures below include spend by Travel Concession Authorities on both statutory and discretionary concessions.
