Excise Duties and VAT: Fuels

- To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will assess the effectiveness of a fuel price stabiliser for petrol calculated on the basis of (a) value added tax, (b) fuel duty and (c) value added tax and fuel duty; and if he will make a statement.
