Criminal Records Bureau

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what plans they have to make changes to the Criminal Records Bureau checking procedures to encourage greater levels of volunteering.
Answer

The Government have commissioned a review of the criminal records regime which is expected to report shortly. HMG will carefully consider and respond to the outcomes and recommendations of the review. The Government remain committed to reducing the barriers to volunteering.
