Defence Estates: Finance

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what funding his Department allocated to Defence Estates for the maintenance, repair and modernisation of the defence estates in financial year 2010-11.

In 2010-11, some £1.25 billion has been allocated to Defence Estates for the maintenance, repair and modernisation of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) estate in the UK and overseas.This does not include those elements of expenditure on the Defence estate which are currently the responsibility of other parts of the MOD.
