Postal Boxes: Northamptonshire

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how many Royal Mail post boxes there are in (a) the borough of Kettering, (b) Northamptonshire, (c) England and (d) the UK.
Answer

[holding answer 7 March 2011]: There are some 115,000 post boxes in the UK.The Department does not hold any further breakdowns of post box numbers as this is an operational matter for Royal Mail. I have therefore asked the chief executive of Royal Mail, Moya Greene, to respond directly to the hon. Member and a copy of her reply will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
