Railways: Freight

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they will reconsider the decision to close down all freight facilities grants to rail freight operators in the United Kingdom.

There are no plans to reconsider the decision to close the Freight Facilities Grant scheme in England. Decisions on the continuation of the scheme in Scotland and Wales are the responsibility of the Scottish Government and Welsh Assembly Government respectively.
