Aviation: Passenger Duty

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is their estimate of the revenues to be derived from taxing private jets, as announced in Budget 2011.

The Government's plans to extend air passenger duty to passengers aboard business jet flights are included in the Budget consultation document. Details of the new tax will be determined in light of the consultation responses. It is not therefore possible accurately to estimate potential revenues at the current time.
