Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills pursuant to the answer of 3 May 2011, Official Report, column 717W, on students: finance, what funding he has allocated for communicating student finance arrangements to prospective students for (a) 2011-12 and (b) 2012-13.
Answer

To date the Department has allocated £1.475 million to the recently launched information campaign aimed at potential students considering entering university from September 2012.The Student Loan Company has allocated some £1.3 million in the current financial year to provide information, advice and guidance aimed at informing and encouraging potential students to apply for the student support available from September.
