National Apprenticeship Service

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills for how many days per week the chief executive of the National Apprenticeship Service is employed; and what his pro-rata salary is.
Answer

The chief executive of the National Apprenticeship Service is currently employed to work three days per week and his pro-rata salary is £96,000.The chief executive's salary position is currently available on the Skills Funding Agency website:"http://skillsfundingagency.bis.gov.uk/aboutus/transparencyingovernment/salary/index.htm"As part of the Government's transparency agenda, the salaries of all senior civil servants below director level will also be made publicly available. The publication date for Agencies is 31 May.
