Tote

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what racing organisations will receive the 50 per cent share of the net proceeds from the sale of the Tote; and how the proceeds will be split amongst the recipients.

I refer my noble friend to the Written Ministerial Statement of 7 June (Official Report, col. WS 7). The Government look forward to working closely with racing to discuss the detail and to design appropriate arrangements for the disbursement of the substantial share of the net proceeds of the Tote sale from which racing will benefit.
