- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (1) what proportion of letters for (a) walk sorting and (b) walk sequencing by Royal Mail were automated in the latest period for which figures are available;

The information requested is an operational matter for Royal Mail. I have therefore asked Moya Greene, the chief executive of Royal Mail, to respond directly to the hon. Member and a copy of her replies will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
