Armed Forces: Deployment

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many service personnel were (a) unaccompanied and (b) accompanied on service in the latest period for which figures are available.
- Answer

As at 6 July 2011, 125,460 service personnel were recorded as being unaccompanied, and 62,010 as accompanied on service.
