- To ask Her Majesty’s Government, in the light of the judgment by the European Court of Human Rights that United Kingdom troops in Iraq were bound by human rights law, what plans they have for a public inquiry into the United Kingdom detention policy in Iraq.

The Government received the European Court of Human Rights Grand Chamber judgments on Al-Skeini and Al-Jedda on 7 July 2011 and are carefully considering the implications and next steps.
