Postal Services: Fraud

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what steps Royal Mail takes to intercept postal scams (a) in general and (b) those targeted on elderly and vulnerable people.
Answer

This is an operational matter for Royal Mail.I have therefore asked the chief executive of Royal Mail, Moya Greene, to respond directly to my hon. Friend and a copy of her reply will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
