Work Capability Assessment: Atos Healthcare

- To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many Atos approved health care professionals responsible for carrying out work capability assessments have been dismissed after being found guilty by the General Medical Council of (a) professional misconduct and (b) misconduct other than professional misconduct in the last year.
- Answer

In the last year, one Atos approved doctor's contract was terminated by Atos for misconduct following a GMC investigation which placed conditions on the doctor's registration.
