- To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much his Department spent on newspapers, periodicals and trade profession magazines in 2010-11.

Expenditure on newspapers, periodicals and magazines purchased for library use in financial year 2010-11 was £169,686 and from April 2011 to date was £52,788. This does not include publications purchased by individual units as local expenditure was devolved from April 2010 and the information is no longer held centrally.
