Export Control

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what discussions they have had since December 2010 with officials in (a) France, (b) Germany, (c) Russia, (d) China, and (e) the United States, about the reasons why those countries enacted re-export control provisions; what information they have about the background to each; and whether, in any such discussions, they have been told that those provisions (1) are unenforceable, (2) have no deterrent effect, or (3) are to be rescinded.
