Council Tax

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether money allocated for freezing council tax in Wales is restricted to that purpose and cannot be used for other purposes.
Answer

The Welsh Government have received a £38.9 million increase to their departmental expenditure limit in 2011-12. As is the usual practice, it will be for the Welsh Government to decide how to use this additional funding.
