Bypasses: Kegworth

- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what recent progress has been made on the Kegworth bypass project; and if she will make a statement.

In October 2010, the Department for Transport set out the outcomes of the Government's 2010 comprehensive spending review, publishing details of its investment decisions for major road projects on the strategic road network.Plans to provide a bypass of Kegworth were not included among the schemes identified, and the Highways Agency is therefore not developing such a proposal at this time.
