- To ask the Secretary of State for Education how many and what proportion of children receiving reading recovery intervention are eligible for free school meals.

[holding answer 15 December 2011]: In 2010-11, where schools recorded this information, 8,735 children (42%) who were selected for the Reading Recovery programme were entitled to free school meals.
