Roads: A303
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they expect that the next re-surfacing of the A303 bypass at Wincanton, Somerset, will be carried out using sound-deadening materials.
- Answer
-
The A303 at Wincanton is not currently on the Highways Agency’s forward programme to be resurfaced. However, when the existing carriageway is due for resurfacing, it is the Highways Agency’s current policy to specify low noise surfacing as a matter of course.
