Democratic Republic of Congo: Politics and Government

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Islington North of 20 December 2011, Official Report, column 1190W, on Congo: politics and government, if he will publish any correspondence sent by the British Ambassador in Kinshasa as part of the lobbying activity referred to in the Answer.
Answer

Our ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo lobbied those to whom the previous answer referred in a number of meetings held during December 2011 and January 2012. The ambassador sent no correspondence as part of this lobbying effort.
