Merchant Navy: Medals

- To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office what consideration he has given to including the Merchant Navy Medal in the orders of wear.

The Merchant Navy Medal is not part of the UK Honours System and thus has no place in the Order of Wear. The Committee on the Grant of Honours, Decorations and Medals is responsible for considering any departmental recommendations relating to medals policy should they be received.
