Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Education what support his Department plans to provide to teachers to administer the proposals on phonics screening at age six; and whether any such support will include information on how to interpret the results.
Answer

We will provide written guidance and video training materials to support teachers administering and marking the phonics screening check. We will also make information available to support schools in interpreting the results.
