- To ask Her Majesty’s Government why a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 dated 30 March 2011 to HM Treasury concerning contact between Treasury Ministers and officials and representatives of WPP has not been answered.

The request of 30 March 2011 was answered on 3 May 2011, citing Section 43(2), and claiming more time under the Freedom of Information Act to assess the public interest factors associated with the information in question. A final reply was issued on 27 September 2011, setting out the Treasury's decision to uphold the exemption and refuse release. The internal review, which was sought at the end of October, has been completed today and a letter has been sent to the noble Lord.
