Houses of Parliament: Recess Dates

- To ask the Chairman of Committees what is the additional cost resulting from the discrepancy in the dates of the February Recess between the House of Commons and the House of Lords in relation to (1) security, (2) catering, (3) administration, and (4) maintenance and engineering.
- Answer

No additional cost to the House of Lords Administration will arise from the difference in dates of the February Recess between the two Houses, under any of the four headings referred to.
