- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what media monitoring services his Department has purchased in each of the last five years.

During the last five years the Ministry of Defence has used the Media Monitoring Unit (MMU) within the Central Office of Information and subscribed to a press cuttings service.MMU can provide services such as media briefings, broadcast summaries and news alerts for Departments.
