As Director General for the Office for National Statistics, I have been asked to reply to your Parliamentary Question asking what was the value of goods exported by the United Kingdom to the Republic of Ireland in each year from 1992 until the last year for which records are available. HL16481 A table showing United Kingdom exports of goods to the Republic of Ireland in each of the years 1992 to 2011 is attached. The annual trade data are published in our UK Balance of Payments Pink Book available on the National Statistics web site at: http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/bop/united-kingdom-balance-of-payments/2011/bod-pink-book-2011.pdf.
