Question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many cases of child benefit fraud his Department is currently investigating.
Answer

[holding answer 23 April 2012]: HM Revenue and Customs' Benefits and Credits Claimant compliance team currently have 3,556 child benefit cases open for investigation.
